Marcus Webb, 21, (seen above arriving at court last week) has been jailed for four years for child sexual abuse
A man who was 17 when he began dating his 13-year-old girlfriend has been jailed for child sexual abuse a year after she leaped to her death because of an argument between them.
Marcus Webb, who is now 21, was arrested last year after police discovered explicit images of Ashli Blake on his mobile phone during an investigation into her death.
She died aged 15 in September 2014 by jumping from a monument in Rockbourne, Hampshire. Two years earlier the schoolgirl underwent an abortion.
Webb, from Fordingbridge, Dorset, has been jailed for four years after admitting inciting sexual activity with a child and causing a child to take part in sexual activity.
Sentencing Judge Brian Forster there were 'no words available to describe the impact of her death on her family.'
'I accept you were both involved in a relationship and I accept you were distraught and very upset by her death.
'However you exploited Ashli and forced her to carry out what are degrading sexual acts,' he said.
Bournemouth Crown Court heard how the pair engaged in numerous Skype conversations during which Webb goaded Ashli to perform lewd acts.
She also sent explicit images of herself to the man via Facebook.
The court heard how Ashli's mother Canasta forbade Webb from entering her bedroom whenever he visited their home.
In 2012, despite being told by Webb that the pair had never engaged in sexual activity, Ashli discovered she was pregnant.
She aborted the baby and in the months that followed Webb received a caution from Dorset Police for engaging in sexual activity with a girl of 13.

Ashli's mother Canasta (left) warned her daughter to stop dating unemployed Webb, the court heard. She reported their relationship to police when she discovered her daughter was pregnant in 2012
Ashli was 15 when she leaped to her death from a monument in the New Forest, Hampshire. The schoolgirl sent a text message to Webb beforehand in which she threatened to take her own life
The ordeal worsened Ashli's mental state and contributed to her death, prosecutor Simon Jones told the court.
'The mother was not happy with the relationship because of the age gap. She allowed him to come to the house but he was not allowed in her bedroom.
Webb (seen above arriving at Bournemouth Crown Court last week) was described as 'very immature' by his lawyer
'She told him "you should not be sleeping with my daughter because of her age"'.
'The defendant told her he wasn't sleeping with her but a few days later her mother found out she was pregnant and kicked him out.'
While her mother advised her to have an abortion, Ashli wanted to keep the child, he said.
'Ashli’s mother told the police her daughter wanted to keep the baby but Ashli accepted advice and had a termination.'
After undergoing the abortion Ashli received taunts from Webb including a Mothers Day card which was reported to police, he claimed.
In September Ashli jumped to her death from a tower in the New Forest after sending Webb a text message in which she threatened to take her own life.
Part of the message read: 'If we can't be together I don't want to be here.'
David Povell, defending, described unemployed Webb as 'very immature', telling the court: 'Marcus was not a man capable to deal with people his own age.
'He remains a young man who comes across as a young teenager.
'His intention was not about degradation, it was about sexual activity.'
