Hey Red Lobster, why no love?
WHEN a global superstar gives your brand a free kick on Super Bowl weekend, you jump.
That’s unless you’re Red Lobster’s social media manager, who has been called out on Twitter over the restaurant chain’s reaction to a shout-out by Beyonce.
In her new song Formation, released ahead of her half time performance, Queen Bey gives a nod to the seafood chain with the lyrics: “When he f*** me good I take his ass to Red Lobster, cause I slay”.
Beyonce’s fans waited eight hours for Red Lobster’s Twitter account to respond, inundating it with tongue-in-cheek tweets about its silence.

When the restaurant chain’s Twitter account finally kicked into gear, its response left Beyonce fans cold.
"Cheddar Bey Biscuits" has a nice ring to it, don't you think? #Formation @Beyonce http://pic.twitter.com/QzgVtYAKNo
