VALENTINE’S Day — the perfect day to watch a flick and ...
Electronics retailer JB Hi-Fi has raised eyebrows with a typographically suggestive sign offering a unique Valentine’s Day gift.
Reddit user Ruskarr noticed the DVD bin with the sign, ‘Flicks for Valentine’s Day’. Unfortunately, the ‘l’ and the ‘i’ appear slightly too close together.

“That’s flicking great,” wrote one user. “Zero flicks given,” said another.
Some Reddit users were suspicious, however.
“My inner tinfoil-hat artisanal craftsman tells me that all of these ‘JB you’ve done it again’ posts are all part of a long-running and well orchestrated viral social media campaign,” one wrote.
One user claiming to be a JB Hi-Fi employee replied: “Can confirm, corporate encourage very personalised and colourful reviews.
“Can also confirm, when corporate finds out about this sign, somebody will more than likely get a verbal, or worse, written warning (next step, fired-town).
“But they also secretly love the publicity, since social media is so much of their advertising now and they don’t advertise on TV like ‘Hardly Normal’.”
Not sure if you can kern type with a Marker but JB HiFi should probably give it a try. #FucksGiven http://pic.twitter.com/JffiRCyf0R
