Kanye West has been out-bragged by an unlikely figure after he boasted to his Twitter followers that he was so rich he could buy 'furs and houses for my family'.
He was trolled by no other than the former deputy prime minister John Prescott, who joined in the the online mocking of the rapper by tweeting: 'Yeah but how many Jags have you got?'
It was a reference to his infamous 'Two Jags' nickname, which he acquired when he was given a Jaguar as a ministerial car in the 1990s - adding to his own personal Jaguar.

Lord Prescott's taunt was one of many Twitter users to mock the Yeezus rapper after his latest online rant.
Kanye claimed at the weekend that his company was $53million in debt and appealed to billionaires - including Facebook founder Mark Zuckberberg - for money to invest.
In a series of tweets the rapper spouted out how he needed the money to 'help the world,' saying: 'I am an artist and I care about humanity. Yes I am personally rich and I can buy furs and houses for my family.
'But I need access to more money in order to bring more beautiful ideas to the world.'
He added: 'If I spent my money on my ideas I could not afford to take care of my family. I am in a place that so many artist end up.'
'Also for anyone that has money they know the first rule is to use other people's money.'
It was this last tweet that sparked the #OutBoastKanye hashtag.
Even Pizza Hut got in on the action, telling him to 'stop telling everyone you need dough and try kneading some dough' and joking: 'We got your C.V. today. You start at 9am tomorrow.'

Lord Prescott, a frequent Tweeter, has never been too far from the headlines since he left frontline politics in 2007.
And he has kept up his 'Two Jags' nickname with several incidents - last summer he was handed a six-month driving ban after being caught speeding in Lincolnshire.
He clocked 60mph in a 50mph zone - accumulating 12 points on his licence, which resulted in an automatic driving ban.
He was also ordered to pay more than £300 in fines.
Kanye's album has been pirated HALF A MILLION times in one day after only launching it on Tidal as a snub to Apple
Kanye has been causing quite a stir in the past few weeks after leaving a trail of absurd comments on Twitter.
The rapper initially announced that 'The Life of Pablo' album would be available for purchase on Apple Music after its exclusive week on Tidal, prompting a slew of preorders.
But then he changed his mind again saying it would only be available on his personal website, 'never never on Apple'.
The album is currently leading The Pirate Bay's list of most shared music torrents by a landslide
And this bizarre move has come back to bite him on the butt.
As of Tuesday, the album has been pirated an estimated 500,000 times, according to Torrent Freak, who suggest that the high volume is down to its limited availability.
The site also reported that even those trying to purchase the album through the restricted avenues had faced problems, with many complaining toTidal that they had failed to receive a copy due to the services payment system.
The album is currently leading The Pirate Bay's list of most shared music torrents by a landslide, said the site.
This can't have helped with his supposedly dire cash situation: The singer has claimed he is $53 million in debt.

While the album was highly anticipated, with a significant number of pirates expected, this high number was most certainly down to its limited release.
But Kanye's surprise move has certainly boosted the popularity of Tidal, with Apple charting it as the top free app on Monday after he asked 'all music lovers' to subscribe.
