A woman who spent almost £134,000 on plastic surgery split from her partner after she hit the headlines for declaring she had spent a fortune on trying to look like a caricature of herself.
Krystina Butel, 31, from Wakefield, first opened up about having extensive surgery including breast augmentations, lip fillers and Botox in a quest to look like a portrait she'd had aged 16 while on holiday in Ibiza in August 2014.
The hairdresser's first surgical procedure came in the form of a breast enlargement at 17 and now, 14 years on, she has spent close to £134,000 on work.

All change: Krystina Butel, 31, from Wakefield, was desperate to look like a caricature of herself
Impressed: Krystina's then-fiancé David Scriven, 41, once said he adored her extreme beauty look
The aim: Krystina had this caricature done in Ibiza when she was 16 and wants to look more like it
At the time her fiancé David Scriven, said he thought she was beautiful and even held her hand as she had her heart-shaped nipple tattoos drawn on.
'I know I’m going to wake up afterwards and see something new in my body,' she said, speaking of her love for plastic surgery.
'For me, it’s about getting closer to my dream. As my funds have got bigger, I’ve spent more and more on cosmetic work. With every surgery, my appearance has got more exaggerated and I’ve gone for the caricature look fully.'
Her quest for caricatured perfection began more than 15 years ago when, during a holiday in Ibiza, she bought a cartoon of herself for £10.
Before the surgery: Krystina is virtually unrecognisable at 15, before she embarked on plastic surgery
Tomboy: As a girl, Krystina says she was tomboyish and entirely uninterested in make-up
Krystina, now 31, is single again after splitting with her fiancé who she met in early 2014
Liking the busty results, she has since spent almost £134,000 on becoming her own caricature.
'When I saw the caricature for the first time on holiday, I was jealous of it,' Krystina said. 'She was so glamorous. She was everything that I wanted to be.
'It was like she was holding the carrot out to me, showing me what I could be. Over the years, I've spent more and more on beauty treatments and surgery so I can look just like her.'
Krystina's current extreme look is a far cry from the tomboyish appearance that she had growing up.
Krystina has spent more than £134,000 on surgery after being inspired by a caricature of herself aged 15
After having her first surgical procedure aged 17, Krystina has had botox, fillers and breast augmentations
Where it all began: Krystina aged 15, the year she was inspired to dramatically change her appearance
'As a child, I was never girly,' she said. 'I wore dungarees all the time. I loved doing boyish things like digging and playing outside.
'I had three brothers and was the only girl in the family, so my mum would try to make me look pretty. But I would just rip the ribbons out my hair and destroy my dress.'
But that all changed when, aged 14, Krystina left school, got a job at a local salon as a hairdresser and began paying more attention to her looks.
'At the salon, I began experimenting with hair extensions and make-up,' she recalled. 'I used to model various styles for the customers.
'But I had never considered plastic surgery or anything like that.'
Then came the fateful holiday that changed her life and triggered a surgery spree that has lasted for more than a decade.
Enthusiast: 'The surgery is definitely addictive, you get a buzz from it,' Krystina, now 31, admitted
The 31-year-old used to be a tomboy, but began experimenting with her looks while working at a salon
'The surgery is definitely addictive, you get a buzz from it,' she explained. 'The feeling before surgery is like Christmas Eve to me. I love the sensation of being put to sleep - it's heavenly.
'I know I'm going to wake up afterwards and see something new in my body. For me, it's about getting closer to my dream.
'As my funds have got bigger, I've spent more and more on cosmetic work. With every surgery, my appearance has got more exaggerated and I've gone for the caricature look fully.'
Topping up her surgery with cosmetic treatments such as botox, Krystina also has regular teeth whitening sessions and wears lengthy hair extensions.
Krystina's one-time fiancé, David Scriven, once professed that he loved her look.
Doorman David, from the Wirral, Merseyside, said at the time: 'I always encourage Krystina to do what she wants. We talk about her future procedures together and I'm happy for her to go for it.
Krystina has now spent around £134,000 on surgery including boob jobs, botox and eyeliner tattooing
'I was right there holding Krystina's hand when she had her heart shaped nipples done. To me, Krystina is beautiful. I love her look and I love the caricature. They've both got the same big personality.
'In fact, my mum was the one who put the drawing in a new frame for Krystina.'
Krystina - who embarked on a relationship with David in early 2014 - said: 'None of my previous partners have ever stopped me from undergoing more surgery. I'm too defiant.
'The caricature showed me that I didn't want to be a natural girl next door and all of my exes never liked that look either.
'When David and I met, we instantly clicked. He goes along with whatever I do and his eyes light up when I show him pictures of the work that I want to have done.'
