Lady Gaga continued to channel her Bowie side as she stepped out Wednesday night in New York in the orange-colored hair she's been sporting since her Grammys appearance.
The Artpop star donned the longer flame-haired wig she wore on the awards show red carpet Monday night in LA paired with halter neck sleeveless gown and towering heels.
It seems the 29-year-old is having trouble letting go of the persona she created for her tribute to the late David Bowie, that garnered mixed reviews.
Still in character: Lady Gaga stepped out in New York City on Wednesday night still wearing an orange wig that she had first donned for the Grammys on Monday
Earlier in the day, the chameleon singer had worn her short wig with a menswear ensemble of a black blazer with fitted trousers and a button up white shirt for the Nicopanda Presentation at New York Fashion Week.
And on Tuesday she wore the wig as she stepped out in a black jumpsuit for the Brandon Maxwell fashion show.
It might be said she's taking the performance art routine a little too far but she's clearly reluctant to let go.

Gaga - real name Stefani Germanotta - has gushed in recent interviews about much she was inspired by Bowie and his shape-shifting ability that allowed him to create powerful personas both on stage and in his music.
She admitted though that even both of them lived in New York, she had never met the rock star, who died on January 10 from cancer at the age of 69.
Hours before the Grammys, she went and got a tattoo of the late musician's iconic album cover for Aladdin Zane and showed it off on social media.

On Monday night at Staples Center, she blazed through 10 of the rock icon's tracks accompanied by Intel's stunning special effects.
Afterwards, Bowie's son Duncan Jones tweeted the Oxford English Dictionary's definition for the world 'gaga'.
'Over-excited or irrational, typically as a result of infatuation or excessive enthusiasm; mentally confused,' he wrote.
He then added: 'Damn it! What IS that word!?'
Gaga's tribute to the late rock icon received mixed reviews and got a cryptic tweet from Bowie's son Duncan Jones, pictured the British musician back in 2009
Fans also gave the tribute a mixed response.
But what upset them even more was the commercial for Intel featuring Gaga that was broadcast in the ad break right after the tribute performance.
It prompted many Twitter users to complain the memorial was 'shamefully' being exploited by the singer and the tech company.

She posted a short video clip of the performance on Snapchat to share with her social media followers.
Among those in attendance were models Toni Garrn and Sara Sampaio, actress Peyton List and DJ Leigh Lezark.
