Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney out for up to two months with a knee ligament injury

Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney is facing up to two months out with a knee ligament injury.

He was left behind by United as they travelled to play Midtjylland in the Europa League.

The injury could provide a scare for England boss Roy Hodgson, who is finessing his preparations ahead of Euro 2016 in France this summer.
