Three women were found dead in Los Angeles of suspected carbon monoxide poisoning after sheriff's deputies found a car running in the adjoining garage.
The car is believed to a pumped poisonous carbon monoxide into the property killing the three women, who are believed to be adult twin sisters and their mother.
A relative, concerned about the welfare of the three women discovered the elderly mother lying dead in her bedroom at 7.30am on Monday.

Deputies who attended the scene were initially overcome by a strong chemical odour and required hospital treatment.
The two other victims were found slumped on the floor of the garage beside the car which was still running.

The three deaths are being treated as suspicious by the LA county sheriff's office. The cause of death is still to be determined by the county coroner.

The women's names have not yet been released by authorities, although county fire spokesman David Bantic claimed carbon monoxide poisoning was suspected.
