A hate preacher linked to British jihadis in Syria has made a chilling threat against an MI5 agent, wishing he would die in a car crash.
Abu Waleed, 37 – who led banned extremist group Al-Muhajiroun – posted the message on encrypted social media site Telegram.
He referred to the officer by his first name, suggesting he knows him or has been interviewed by him.

The Telegram app is becoming the platform of choice for British jihadis in both the UK and Syria.
Last Tuesday, Waleed wrote: ‘A warm good evening to intelligence officer James at MI5 (British Security Services).
'Hope you are in a Ford Galaxy 7 seater and it ends up hitting a wall, burning and leaving your face hanging like an egg on hot toast.’
Waleed signed off, saying: ‘Enjoy your dinner, Kind regards, Your Curse. Keep biting your fingers.’
The message has been viewed almost 500 times by Waleed’s 1,055 followers, many of them notorious jihadis.
It is believed that analysts at MI5’s Thames House headquarters will study the message and assess the threat.

Waleed, whose real name is Shahid Janjua, lives in Hounslow, West London.
He has been on benefits for most of his adult life, and is a friend of Siddartha Dhar, 31, from North London, who is fighting in Syria.
Dhar has been dubbed the ‘new Jihadi John’ after executing four ‘spies’ on video.
In June 2014, we revealed videos Waleed had posted online in which he said he wanted Britain to become an Islamic state where non-Muslims would be forced to shave their heads and wear a sash.
