A 17-year-old boy has been arrested in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, on suspicion of 'arranging funds or property for the purposes of terrorism', the South East Counter Terrorism Unit has said.
Officers from the South East Counter Terrorism Unit (SECTU) working alongside Thames Valley Police to arrest the boy in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire this morning.
Police confirmed a 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of 'arranging funds or property for the purposes of terrorism'.

The 'pre-planned' arrest relates to an investigation by the South East Counter Terrorism Unit in connection with conflicts overseas.
A police spokesman said: 'This arrest relates to an investigation by the SECTU and officers would like to reassure residents that the police activity is in relation to conflicts overseas and is not linked to any immediate threat to local communities or anywhere else in the UK.'
Superintendent Ed McLean, of Thames Valley Police, added: 'I would like to reassure the community that this investigation should have very little impact on local residents.
'The arrest was pre-planned and was not made in response to any immediate threat to public safety in High Wycombe.
'Our officers will continue to maintain a presence in the area, offering reassurance to the local community.'
