TOWIE's Gemma Collins launches into epic rant at her 'haters'

Viewers accused her of being rude to customers after she was seen slamming down the phone on last Sunday's episode of TOWIE.

And boutique owner Gemma Collins took to social media on Tuesday to share an epic rant aimed at her 'haters', revealing it was in fact a cold caller on the line and not a customer.

The enraged 35-year-old uploaded a snapshot of a positive Facebook review of her Brentwood store in a bid to quash rumours of her unsatisfactory customer service.

She posted: 'Just want to clear up ... TOWIE the other night as you know it's a TV show ...

'When we was filming the phone went and it was an advertising company cold caller to which I said call back in one hour ...As it was NOT A CUSTOMER ....

'We have an amazing customer service ethic and haters gonna hate but truth is my shop is expanding on many levels and I love what I do customer service is key as being a car sales girl back in the day I'm sick of people trying to knock my amazing boutique which is fun friendly and excellent customer service X.'

'TOWIE is a tv show to which I do the odd cameo as I provide drama to get the show going get a grip people it's not real there was no customer other end!'

Gemma was also keen to clear up rumours that surfaced in January about her allegedly charging a young fan for the priveleged of a picture with her.

She added: 'X peace and love X whatever you write I know the truth and I have been in business 4 years and have new shops opening all over ...

'And the most stupid thing I ever heard is that I charge for photos .... It's makes me laugh I know the truth.'

This marks the first time Gemma - who was branded the 'biggest liar in Essex' by James Lock when she stirred up drama on Tuesday's episode of the show - has addressed the claims.

A few weeks ago, Gemma was accused by former Big Brother star Alex Sibley of charging his friend's daughter £12 for a posed photo.

Alex shamed the star on his Twitter account, posting a picture of the star with the young fan.

Captioning the image, he wrote: 'Gemma Collins charged my friend's daughter £12 for this selfie #gemmacollins @bbuk.'

The ensuing tweet was the picked up by other outraged fans who also claim to have been asked to stump up for the chance to take a picture with Gemma.

Jamal Grieves, a blogger, wrote about receiving a similar demand for money after seeing Alex's tweet, responding: 'LMAO I'll never forget the time she tried charging me 10£ for a selfie [sic].'

When contact by the MailOnline for comment, a spokesperson for Gemma responded: 'Gemma spends a lot of time styling and assisting customers in her shop, and as far as I am aware Gemma has never charged fans for images and is more than happy to pose for fans and sign autographs.'

Meanwhile Alex, who was a finalist on the third series of Big Brother, has been very vocal in his views on the subject.

Speaking to the MailOnline, he said: 'Any decent human being wouldn't have gone in that shop if they thought they would have to pay, and [in] my time lots of people asked me [for] photographs and I always gave it to them - even if they came to my front door, which was annoying, but these are the people that make us popular.'

However, the bearded former reality star has run into some trouble with the former Gemma's legion of fans.

Taking to his Twitter account on Tuesday, he wrote: 'Can't believe all the people sticking up for Gemma Collins saying I am lying? If I wanted to lie, I'd say Vladimir Putin is innocent.'

And in another swipe at the Essex girl, Alex changed his Twitter bio to read: 'If you meet me, I won't charge you £12 for a selfie unlike Gemma Collins from TOWIE. You probably won't know who I am any way like Alan.'
