ISIS video shows an orphanage full of children being trained

ISIS has released a new video allegedly showing an orphanage full of children being trained as the next generation of fighters.

The three-minute clip, which appears to have been professionally shot in Syria, initially starts by showing the orphans playing with toys and being fed.

But, in a sinister twist, it also cuts to images of the black-and-white ISIS flag as well as showing a group of young boys being forced to carry out 'Army' exercises on a dusty concrete square.

An older boy can be seen forcing them to run around the edge of the area, before making them complete a number of push-ups.

The clip, which has been labelled 'Caring for Orphans within the Islamic State' by the terror group, starts by showing the tiny orphans playing with brightly coloured blocks before sipping squash and sitting round a table to eat a meal.

An elderly man can be seen dishing out grapes and bananas to the children, who look happy as they chat and eat with their fingers.

The video also shows shots of the children enjoying other activities including dancing for the girls. Many are wearing pretty outfits and one girl has her hair in pigtails, which are tied ribbons.

Meanwhile, the boys can be seen enjoying a variety of play equipment including a small slide, toy guns bouncy animals and scooters.

Many of the boys smile and wave at the camera as they attempt to get a little bit of information.

But the apparently nurturing environment quickly changes as the video suddenly cuts to the group of boys dressed in their 'uniform', which are made from camouflage material.

They are forced into stress positions and made to waddle around the area as they learn 'combat', ISIS claimed in the video.

It is not the first time the terror group has used children in a video.

Footage posted last month by ISIS supporters showed an 11-year-old boy kneeling down to kiss his father's hand before blowing himself up in a truck laden with explosives.

Meanwhile, a four-year-old British boy dubbed 'Jihadi Juniour' was filmed apparently detonating a bomb, which killed four prisoners in the group's latest execution video.

The footage shows the young boy, who is the son of Muslim convert Grace 'Khadija' Dare from south east London, then raising his hand in the air before shouting: 'Allahu Akbar.'
