This revolting video shows a woman having her blackheads squeezed and reams of sebum swirling out.
The young woman, who is unidentified, is lying on her back, being filmed having the spots on her nose excavated.
The camera zooms in on her face, showing visible pores, as her nose is pressed with tissues.
As her skin is squeezed, streams of thin, stringy sebum emerge from her pores, curling as they are pushed out.
As strangely soothing music plays in the background, the yellow substance is wiped away with the tissues.
Then, the procedure is repeated on a different part of the woman's nose, expunging yet more sebum.
The two-and-a-half-minute video, which has been viewed nearly 10,000 times, was uploaded to the Australian YouTube channel Dr GuruS2.
Blackheads occur when hair follicles become plugged with oil and dead skin cells.
When the body produces too much oil, known as sebum, it can combine with dead skin cells , and build up in the follicle.
When the oil is exposed to the air at the surface of the skin, it turns brown, creating a dark 'plug' in the pore.
They typically appear on the face, neck, chest, back and shoulders as these are the areas of skin with the most oil-producing glands.
Bacteria can thrive in this environment, and the spot can become inflamed.
It may bulge and become a whitehead, or if the plug is open to the surface it may darken, causing a blackhead - which looks as though there is a speck of dirt in the spot.
This disgusting video shows a woman having dozens of her blackheads squeezed at the same time - and reams of sebum swirling out
